Sri Lanka, Aug. 21 -- Former Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa and five co-accused have been indicted by the Attorney General, facing charges of misusing public funds. The Colombo High Court heard the case today, where the group is accused of unlawfully spending over six million rupees from the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.

The alleged misuse of funds, amounting to more than six point one million rupees, was reportedly for flood relief efforts in late 2014. The indictments were served before Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne.
