Sri Lanka, July 27 -- Former Management Service Officer of the Department of Motor Traffic Wijesekara Arachchige Chandra Vijayasekara, arrested by the Bribery Commission in connection with an illegal vehicle transfer at the department, was ordered to be released on two personal bails of Rs. 500,000 each by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today (27).

The magistrate, who imposed a travel ban on the suspect, ordered the court registrar to notify the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration of the order.

The person released on bail in this manner is Wijesekara Arachchige Chandra Vijayasekara, who was a former Management Service Officer of the Department of Motor Traffic.
