Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- Former Chief Judicial Sanghanayaka of Udadumbara, Venerable Poppitiye Sumangala Thera, is staging a protest near the Buddha shrine in Udadumbara town.

The demonstration is being held to express opposition to the removal of Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera's robes.
