Sri Lanka, Feb. 28 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the Sri Lankan community following missile attacks and high tension across several Middle East countries.

All Sri Lankan embassies and diplomatic missions in the region remain in constant and close contact with the Ministry.

Additionally, the Foreign Employment Bureau introduced a WhatsApp hotline at +94 71 980 2822 for Sri Lankans living in the Middle East to access assistance.

Despite the ongoing crisis, the Ministry emphasises that no significant impact or harm to Sri Lankans in the Middle East occurred so far.
