Sri Lanka, Oct. 3 -- Foreign ministry clarifies global nature of us secondary sanctions

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has clarified that United States secondary sanctions penalising entities that provide supplies or services to U.S.-sanctioned vessels represent a global policy measure rather than a directive specifically targeting Sri Lanka.
