Sri Lanka, April 30 -- The Maligakanda Magistrate's Court today ordered that five suspects arrested in connection with the murder of a youth from Bloemendhal Road, Colombo, be remanded until the 14th of next month. Current investigations suggest the killing stemmed from a violent dispute between two rival underworld factions.

Police have identified organized criminals and drug traffickers Palani Remotion and Kotahena Aravin, both believed to be operating from overseas, as the individuals who allegedly orchestrated the hit. The victim's body was originally discovered on April 23 along the banks of the Kelani River on Ferguson Road in Mattakkuliya.
