Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- Water supply will be suspended for five hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today (6) in several areas supplied by the Pujapitiya water supply scheme, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced.

The board stated that the water supply will be suspended due to essential maintenance work.

Accordingly, the areas where water supply will be suspended are given below:

Medawala (Old) Service Reservoir:

Kewumkohe Road, Gonigoda, Jayanthi Road, Gurukawe, Palkumbura, Idamegama, Arabegama, Gorokgas Anga Road, Elamalpatha, Kotuthenna, Pethiyagodawatta, Kaluwana, Bothota, Harankahathenna, Dodamthenna, Kumburegedara, Dembaralawa, Thibbut, and Thalapelallegoda Road.

Medawala (New) Service Reservoir:
