Sri Lanka, July 21 -- A fire broke out at a helmet manufacturing factory in the Katuwana Industrial Zone in Homagama, the Homagama Headquarters Police stated.

Residents state that the entire area is covered in black smoke due to the fire.

Our correspondent mentioned that the Kotte Municipal Council Fire Fighting Unit is scheduled to be called to extinguish the fire.
