Sri Lanka, July 2 -- The Colombo Magistrate's Court has issued notice to the Officer-in-Charge of the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID), instructing him to present submissions tomorrow (03).

This is in response to a request made by W.D.N.H. Perera, seeking a court order to release electronic devices seized by the Police, including computers and mobile phones, which are currently in police custody in connection with the Krrish transaction investigations.

After considering submissions made by President's Counsel Saliya Peiris on behalf of the applicant, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order.
