Sri Lanka, Sept. 25 -- The father of Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias 'Harak Kata', who is remanded and held at a special detention centre in Welisara, has submitted a written complaint to the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka requesting that his son's life be protected.

In the letter, Nelson Mervyn Wickramaratne stated that there is a suspicious situation behind the recent conflict reported in the media involving his son.

He pointed out that there is a severe risk to his son's life, aimed at preventing the disclosure of certain evidence in his possession.
