Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- One person died, and three others were hospitalised following a road incident near a fuel station in the Pannipitiya area on the High Level Road early this morning (24).

The situation occurred when a luxury bus attempted to avoid a three-wheeler pulling out of the fuel station in an unsafe manner. The bus subsequently collided with a parked lorry, according to police reports.

Those injured were admitted to the Homagama Base Hospital, where one individual is reportedly in critical condition.
