Sri Lanka, May 4 -- Anuradha Tennakoon, President of the National Farmers' Union, arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this morning.

Authorities summoned him following a statement he previously made during a press conference regarding land owned by Agriculture Minister K.D. Lallkantha. The CID issued a written notice requesting a statement after the Minister filed a formal complaint concerning the remarks.%MCEPASTEBIN%
