Sri Lanka, April 24 -- Sri Lanka's total exports, including merchandise and services, were valued at $1,467.31 million in March 2026, marking a 5.2% year-on-year decline compared to the same month in 2025. However, exports rebounded on a month-on-month basis, rising 9.0% from $1,346.2 million recorded in February, signaling a recovery in momentum.

According to provisional data from Sri Lanka Customs, along with estimated figures for gems and jewellery and petroleum products, merchandise exports fell 4.94% to $1,180.39 million in March.
