Sri Lanka, Feb. 5 -- A major research project aimed at reforming Sri Lanka's constitution officially launched on January 03 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
Professor Deepika Udagama delivered the keynote address, emphasising that the program must operate with clear objectives and a well-defined roadmap from its inception to ensure success.
The initiative, facilitated by the "One Text" (OTI) organisation, brings together a diverse group of experts to foster national consensus on policy among political parties. Prominent legal and political figures contributed to the initial discussions:
