Sri Lanka, Feb. 10 -- A high-level European Union delegation arrived in Sri Lanka to evaluate the country's continued eligibility for the GSP+ trade concessions.

The assessment begins ahead of the 27th Session of the EU-Sri Lanka Joint Commission, which starts this Thursday (12) in Colombo. Foreign Ministry Secretary Aruni Ranaraja leads the Sri Lankan team, while Paola Pampaloni of the European External Action Service co-chairs the visiting delegation.
