Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- Services for the electronic revenue license (eRL 2.0) system will be temporarily suspended from September 25 to 28 due to a scheduled system update.

The four-day suspension has been arranged with the official consent and approval of the chief secretaries across eight provincial councils, covering the Central, Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Northern, North Western, and Eastern provinces.

Authorities stated that the downtime is required to carry out a critical system cutover aimed at enhancing the overall functionality, stability, and reliability of the island-wide digital revenue license infrastructure.
