Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- The Sri Lanka Export Development Board, or EDB, held a discussion today (6) regarding the recent 20% tariff imposed by the United States on Sri Lankan goods.
According to the EDB, the meeting brought together high-level government officials and representatives from the export sector to plan the next steps in addressing the impact of the US tariffs.
EDB Chairman Mangala Wijesinghe emphasised the importance of a joint programme by the export industry to face the challenges posed by the tariffs.
