Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- Fort Police reported the arrest of a Dutch national who illegally flew a drone from the Galle Face Green towards the Presidential Secretariat.

The drone has also been taken into police custody.

The 56-year-old suspect was initially apprehended by Air Force officials and then handed over to the police.

The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the court. Investigations are being conducted under the direction of Fort Police OIC, Chief Police Inspector Dileepa C. Perera.
