Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- The Court of Appeal has dismissed without a hearing a writ application filed by Parliamentarian Dilith Jayaweera, seeking an order to nullify the conclusion made against him by the Colombo Fort Magistrate alleging contempt of court.

The ruling was delivered by an appellate bench comprising Court of Appeal President Rohantha Abesuriya, Chamath Morayas, and Aadithya Patabendige.
