Sri Lanka, July 28 -- Sri Lanka Customs has seized 2,239,400 foreign cigarettes with an estimated value of approximately Rs. 50 million.
Customs officials stated that this is the largest consignment of cigarettes ever seized at an air cargo terminal.
The illicit cigarettes were intercepted at the Katunayake Air Cargo Terminal.
