Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- Colombo Additional Magistrate Nuwan Kaushalya scheduled the defense evidence inquiry for November 10 regarding the legal case filed against Parliamentarian Dr. Arjuna Ramanathan over an alleged vehicle crash and assault incident on Baseline Road.

The magistrate issued the order during the court hearing concerning Lasantha Abeywardena, who was driving a car along Baseline Road on March 22, 2021, when the vehicle crashed and an assault took place.

Grandpass Police handled the prosecution for the matter.

Following the conclusion of the prosecution evidence today, the court set the new date for the defense proceedings.
