Sri Lanka, Sept. 21 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered that Koralagamage Mandinu Padmasiri Perera, alias Kehelbaddara Padme, who is alleged to be a major drug trafficker and organised crime gang member, be remanded until the first of next month.

The suspect was presented to court from prison via video technology.

The Criminal Investigation Department submitted a further report to the court.

Presenting facts before the court, the Criminal Investigation Department submitted 200 colour photographs found on the suspect's eight mobile phones via a 76-page document solely for the court's observation.
