Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne today (18) filed a motion with the Colombo Magistrate's Court, seeking an order to temporarily halt an arrest warrant issued against him by the Bribery Commission.

The motion was brought before Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali, who advised that the request must be made when the Bribery Commission, as the plaintiff, is also present in court.

Consequently, the court did not issue an order on the matter.
