Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- The Walasmulla Magistrate's Court granted permission to the Criminal Investigation Department to detain and question Anusha Lakmali, alias 'Achini', for seven days following her arrest in the United Arab Emirates under a Red Notice and her subsequent extradition to the island in connection with the murder of 'Kajja' and his two children.

A team of Criminal Investigation Department officers presented the suspect before court to obtain the detention order after bringing her back to the island from abroad.
