Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- A tense situation arose during the satyagraha being held at Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo demanding the release of Bodu Bala Sena organization general secretary Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera.

Reports indicate this tension developed because Cinnamon Gardens police arrived with a court order to remove the monks and others participating in the satyagraha from the location.
