Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- Wildlife veterinarians in Girithale say that the elephant in critical condition in the Kandalama Reservoir needs continuous treatment. The elephant's health has shown some improvement with the treatment it has already received.

According to wildlife officials, the elephant has wounds on its body in addition to its two front legs. Continuous treatment will be provided, and the veterinarians state that the elephant's health is slowly improving.

Meanwhile, two other elephants have been found dead in separate incidents.
