Sri Lanka, July 30 -- The Colombo District Court today (30) ordered that the complaint filed by former Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) office bearers Duminda Dissanayake, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, and Mahinda Amaraweera, challenging their suspension from the party's official platforms, will be heard on August 20.

The complaint was taken up before Colombo District Judge Sandun Withana.

After considering the submissions made by the lawyers representing the complainants.

The complaint alleges an arbitrary suspension from their respective offices.

Named as respondents in the complaint are former Sri Lanka Freedom Party Chairman Maithripala Sirisena and several others.
