Sri Lanka, May 15 -- Two fresh complaints regarding irregularities in coal imports and electricity generation reached the Coal Commission yesterday, both filed by members of the opposition. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake appointed this high-powered Presidential Commission to investigate potential malpractice within the sector. While two members of parliament from the National People's Power previously lodged complaints, New People's Front leader Sugeeshwara Bandara arrived at the commission this morning to submit his own.
