Sri Lanka, June 25 -- The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education issued the official circular regarding the admission of students to Grade 1 in government schools for the year 2027.

According to an announcement made by the ministry's media unit on today (25), arrangements are in place to publish the corresponding press notice in government newspapers on June 29, 2026.

The media unit further stated that the relevant circular, numbered 25/2026, and additional details are available on the official website of the Ministry of Education.
