Sri Lanka, May 20 -- The census activities related to the information updating process of the first phase of the Aswesuma welfare benefit programme are scheduled to end on the upcoming 31st.

Therefore, the Welfare Benefits Board requests the relevant beneficiaries to provide accurate information and extend the necessary support to the census officer who visits their home before that date.

The board also emphasises that providing false or incorrect information with the aim of obtaining benefits is a punishable offence.
