Sri Lanka, Aug. 16 -- The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has announced that 226 of its engineers have migrated over the past three years, representing almost 20% of the company's workforce.

According to the CEB, the engineers are leaving for highly-paid jobs abroad.

The majority of those who have left were electrical engineers at 85%, followed by mechanical engineers at 8%, and civil engineers at 7%.

The CEB said that most of the engineers have secured roles in countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.
