Sri Lanka, April 26 -- A carpentry shed and an adjacent house were completely destroyed by a fire that broke out this afternoon (26) in the Koralawella area along the Moratuwa Galle Road. Egoda Uyana Police state that the blaze originated in the workshop before spreading to the nearby residence.

While property damage is extensive, no lives were lost and no injuries were reported. Firefighting units from the Moratuwa Municipal Council arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames, which had already engulfed both structures by the time they reached the location.
