Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- Colombo Archbishop His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith says that the catholic church is currently studying the proposed new Anti-Terrorism Act, which is expected to replace the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA), through its legal teams.

He made these remarks while responding to questions raised by journalists regarding the new legislation proposed by the government.

The Cardinal stated that he would refrain from commenting on the proposed Act until the review process is completed.
