Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) conducted raids on three cinema canteens in Colombo on Friday after receiving complaints that products were being sold above the maximum retail price.

The Authority stated that all traders have been instructed not to sell goods at prices exceeding the Maximum Retail Price (MRP).

Consumers are urged to lodge complaints about such incidents by calling the CAA's 1977 hotline during office hours.
