Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- The bribery case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against former Investment Promotion Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena and former Director General of the Board of Investment (BOI), Jayantha Edirisinghe, was today ordered to be called for a pre-trial conference on September 7 by the Colombo High Court. The two are accused of causing a loss of over Rs. 1.7 million to the government.
