Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara request the inmates and their relatives to act with patience until solutions are provided for the issues faced by inmates.

Further, he requested not to create violent situations inside prisons by falling prey to the statements of individuals with malicious intentions.

Minister expressed concerns issuing a special statement this evening (07) at the Ministry of Justice on the several unrests arose in three prisons.

Further the minister added that steps are being implemented to recruit new employees for nearly 70 out of 118 vacancies that existed in the Government Analyst's Department as a solution to expedite the delivery of government analyst reports....
