Sri Lanka, May 31 -- A woman was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon following an argument inside a house in the Nikadalupotha area, and a man committed suicide by hanging inside the same house yesterday (30). Wellawa police stated this.

The victim is a 49-year-old woman who resided in the Nikadalupotha area.

The other individual who died by hanging following the incident is a 40-year-old resident of the same area, according to the police.

An argument arose between the deceased woman and the man inside the house, which escalated into a dispute, according to preliminary investigations conducted by the police.
