Sri Lanka, July 14 -- Appointments will be handed over to 228 public health management assistants at a special event scheduled to take place on July 16 at 10.30 am at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, the Ministry of Health and Mass Media said.

The appointments will be delivered under a special human resource development programme implemented by the Ministry of Health and Mass Media to enhance the quality of the free healthcare system in the country, make the hospital system more efficient, and maintain hospital administration and patient care services without a breakdown.
