Sri Lanka, March 17 -- All international schools, private higher education institutions, and vocational training centres across the island must grant holidays every Wednesday, the Ministry of Education announced.

This decision applies to all international schools and privately operated higher education and vocational training institutes according to a special set of instructions issued by the Ministry.
