Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- All schools within the Hatton Education Zone, that remained closed due to adverse weather conditions will reopen tomorrow (06).

The Central Province Education Secretary stated that the decision was taken after considering the prevailing weather situation in the region.

Earlier, authorities took steps to temporarily close all schools in the zone to ensure the safety of students and teachers from heavy rainfall and disaster risks that prevailed in the area.
