Sri Lanka, Oct. 24 -- Agriculture Minister K. D. Lal Kantha has visited the Hatton-Kotagala area to look into issues faced by local dairy farmers.

During the visit, the Minister met dairy farmers operating on Rosita Estate in Kotagala, who play a significant role in the local dairy industry. He held discussions with them and said steps would be taken to address their concerns promptly.

The Minister also visited a privately operated livestock farm on Harrington Estate in Kotagala to observe its management practices.

The programme was jointly organised by the Central Provincial Department of Animal Production and Health and the Central Provincial Department of Agriculture.
