Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- Daily revenue of Hatton SLTB depot has dropped from Rs 3.3 million to Rs. 1-1.2 million due to severe adverse weather prevailing in the western slopes of the central hills and disruptions to traffic flow on main roads, Hatton SLTB Depot Manager Palitha Weerasuriya stated today (06).

During normal days, 75 long- and short-distance buses are in operation, the Hatton depot manager stated.

About 18,000-26,000 passengers travelled in buses of the depot, and due to only 9,218-10,000 passengers travelling per day over the past three days with prevailing heavy rains, this revenue situation dropped, the depot manager stated.
