Sri Lanka, Aug. 9 -- The 2026 Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to commence tomorrow (10). It will be held until September 5 at 2,532 examination centres.

A guideline for steps to be taken if any disaster arises while the examination is being held was prepared jointly by the Departments of Meteorology and Examinations, the Disaster Management Centre stated.

Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage said:

"All examination candidates are reminded that if they are a school applicant, their admission cards are sent to the school principals, and that of a private applicant, to the designated addresses by post.
