SriLanka, Feb. 22 -- A 22-year-old youth died following a road mishap in the Pitiwella area of Boossa on the Galle-Colombo main road at midnight yesterday (21). Rathgama Police identified the deceased as Rukshan Liyanage.

The incident occurred when a private bus traveling from Colombo toward Matara and a motorcycle traveling from Galle toward Hikkaduwa collided head-on. Police stated the collision took place around 12:30 AM, resulting in fatal injuries to the motorcyclist.
