Sri Lanka, July 19 -- Approximately 70 percent of the currently reported dengue fatalities are women, noted Acting Director of the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr. Kapila Kannangara.

Women must remain extremely cautious regarding protection from dengue fever, the National Dengue Control Unit stresses.
