Sri Lanka, Sept. 3 -- Water supply will be suspended for 24 hours from 8.00 pm today (03) to 8.00 pm tomorrow (04) in several areas of the Colombo District, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated.

The water supply interruption will occur due to essential maintenance work carried out on the Ambatale-Dehiwala water transmission pipeline near Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla (near Polduwa Bridge), the Board stated.

Accordingly, water supply will be suspended to Nugegoda, Kohuwala, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, Moratuwa, Rawatawatta, Soysapura, Angulana, Indibedda, Katubedda, Kaldemulla, Modara, Koralawella, Egodauyana, and Katukurunda areas.

Furthermore, water supply will be suspended to Sethsiripaya, Himbutana, Udumulla R...
