Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- The woman killed in the shooting incident in Halpathota, Baddegama this morning (27) has been identified as 47-year-old Kudawidanage Sushitha Iroshanee, alias "Kalu Noni", a resident of Ambalangoda, along with the driver of the three-wheeler in which she was travelling, Police said.

Police stated that information has come to light revealing the shooting was carried out by followers of foreign-based alleged organised crime gang member and major drug trafficker Sobana Handi Jayalath de Silva, alias "Karandeniye Sudda".

According to Police, the deceased "Kalu Noni" was associated with the faction of Lanthuwahandi Sujeewa Ruwan Kumara de Silva, alias "Loku Patty", who is also an alleged organised criminal and drug tra...
