India, April 19 -- Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the police to adopt a zero-tolerance approach in the alleged religious conversion case at the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) unit in Nashik. He has asked the police to ensure a thorough probe, and examine every possible pattern and angle in the case to ensure that the accused are brought to justice.

The directions were issued at a high-level meeting called to review the law-and-order situation. Top home officials such as additional chief secretary for home Manisha Mhaiskar, director-general of police Sadanand Date and Nashik police commissioner Sandeep Karnik, among others, were present.
