Your name on the electoral roll: Every form you may need, and the controversies over them as SIR continues
India, Oct. 3 -- Since the Election Commission of India (ECI) began the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in June 2025, voters have been handed a series of forms to fill in, submit or check. Some are routine parts of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, which govern how India's voter lists are prepared and revised, and the others were created specifically for SIR.
