Yeida earmarks land for regional medical hub near Noida International Airport
GREATER NOIDA, Aug. 12 -- The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has decided to propose a 500-acre "regional medical hub" in sectors 13 and 14 near the Noida International Airport, as Uttar Pradesh seeks to secure one of the five hubs proposed by the Centre in this year's Union Budget.
"We have decided to develop a regional medical hub to fuel growth in the region, generate jobs and make world-class medical facilities accessible to the public. Land in sectors 13 and 14 has been selected for the regional medical hub. The state government has asked us for a proposal and we are in the process of preparing one. It will soon be sent to the government," Yeida chief executive officer RK Singh told reporters on Monday.
